Installing and Deleting Addons
An addon is a pack which contains the files of content (props, animations, characters, textures, and costumes) which can be installed and used in Moviestorm. There are two ways that an addon may be packaged. As a addon file packed by the Modder’s Workshop or as a simple file folder.
Installing
Official Moviestorm Addons - Once purchased from the Moviestorm store, you have two options for installing the addon. You can start Moviestorm, wait before hitting the Start button, and when the Content button appears, click it and locate the addon. Or, you can download and install it using the instructions below, in User-made file with a .addon extension.
User-made file with an .addon extension - Once the addon has been downloaded, start Moviestorm, go to Settings, press the Install button under the Addon tab, and browse to the location that you saved the addon.
User-made content folder - PC - Browse to C:\Program Files\Moviestorm Release and drop the user-made addon into the Addon folder. If you have MS running while you do this, you’ll need to restart it for the addon to be enabled.
User-made content folder - Mac - Go to Applications and right-click Moviestorm. Select Show Package Contents, open Moviestorm’s Addon folder, and drop the new addon into it. If you have MS running while you do this, you’ll need to restart it for the addon to be enabled.
Deleting
For any addon, official or user-made, browse to the location described above, for PC or Mac, and in Moviestorm’s Addon folder, locate the addon that you wish to remove and delete it’s folder.
